I ordered the corn fritters with aioli, chilli jam and halloumi. The taste of the meal was nice, but also nothing special, maybe a /. My friend ordered the Bach Breeze and enjoyed. The environment inside is nice, but quite dark and very stuffy at times. The service was good and friendly. However, I would skip the coffee as it was average (we ordered an iced latte and cappacuino which had a lack of froth).

We were working round the corner for a while and used to visit for breakfast. We loved the Bach Breeze and Cinnamon Toast.Always welcoming and would highly recommend.

My friends and I had brunch this morning at The Batch. It was a busy Sunday so we understand the waiting times. we waited for about minutes for our food. The toast on the full English comes with no butter which was a bit disappointing. The beans were cold, the eggs were overdone, the bacon was very difficult to bite without breaking your teeth. The flavors were there, and obviously it was edible, but we expected more specially for that price. The staff were really lovely though.

Ordered a veggie salad - clearly they forgot about my order as I had to chase them and it arrived half an hour after ordering. I wouldn’t have minded waiting if the food was good but it was really disappointing - the ‘salad’ was just a bowl of bland roasted vegetables. No salad leaves even. Didn’t want to make a scene so I asked for it to go and just left but regretted not asking for a refund afterwards. Would not recommend this place
